This project concerns a private property in Anavyssos, Greece. The construction of garden, of an area of 5,500 m2, was launched in March 2007 and completed in May of the same year. The project lasted about two months.

It is a large green space , with large amount of sunshine throughout the day. We placed sod with characteristics of extremely density, bright color and texture throughout the year.

Around the plot, we planted tall shrubs, such as beacon (Photinia fraserii), eleagnos (Eleagnus ebbingeii), viburnum (Viburnum tinus) and angelica (Pittosporum tobira). We created beds with clusters containing small and large shrubs, herbs and perennial herbs. At the entrance of the estate, we planted impressive olive trees (Olea europea), which architecturally were combined perfectly with the pre-existing very large cypress (Cupressus sempervirens).

At certain spots of the garden we planted locust trees (Ceratonia siliqua)), arias (Quersus ilex) and an ornamental plum tree (Prunus pissardii). Also, in the rear part of the estate we created a farming with fruit and citrus trees, vegetable garden and vines that expanded on about one acre. In order to highlight architecturally the house and the site in general, we created paved paths and surfaces with pebbles and wood.

Across the garden a fully automated irrigation system was installed using solenoid valves and central controller. Pop-ups were also used for the irrigation of lawn and self-regulating dripping hoses for watering the trees and shrubs.
